faculty

Practitioners teach practitioners.

Every NewForum instructor holds an active role in the function they teach. No academics. No career consultants. People doing the work this week, teaching what they know because they use it.

the bench

What every NewForum instructor has in common.

Faculty are recruited per cohort. Names and bios are shared with applicants once they're admitted — partly to protect faculty time before commitment, partly because we match faculty to cohort composition. Three things are constant.

Active in the function this week.

No academics, no career consultants, no people who left the function five years ago. Every instructor is currently in a senior role doing the work they teach.

Senior enough to be honest about limits.

Faculty are at VP, Director, CFO, CHRO, COO, or Chief of Staff level. People with the perspective to say what AI doesn't do well, not just what it does.

Function-matched to your cohort.

A finance cohort gets a CFO or Head of FP&A. A marketing cohort gets a VP / Senior Director. We don't have generalist trainers covering six functions; we have practitioner faculty per function.
